Rabbit polyclonal to JAK1 (phospho Y1022)
JAK1(Phospho-Tyr1022) Antibody detects endogenous levels of JAK1 only when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1022.
IHC-P, ELISAmore details
Reacts with
Mouse, Rat, Dog, Human
Synthetic peptide (Human) phosphopeptide derived from JAK1 around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 1022(K-E-YP-Y-T).
Liquid
Shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
Preservative: 0.02% Sodium Azide
Constituents: 50% Glycerol, PBS(without Mg2+ and Ca2+), 150mM Sodium chloride, pH 7.4
Concentration information loading...
Immunogen affinity purified
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab38519 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
ELISA: 1/1000.
IHC-P: 1/50 - 1/100.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Tyrosine kinase of the non-receptor type, involved in the IFN-alpha/beta/gamma signal pathway. Kinase partner for the interleukin (IL)-2 receptor.
Expressed at higher levels in primary colon tumors than in normal colon tissue. The expression level in metastatic colon tumors is comparable to the expression level in normal colon tissue.
Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Tyr protein kinase family. JAK subfamily.
Contains 1 FERM domain.
Contains 1 protein kinase domain.
Contains 1 SH2 domain.
Possesses two phosphotransferase domains. The second one probably contains the catalytic domain (By similarity), while the presence of slight differences suggest a different role for domain 1.
The FERM domain mediates interaction with JAKMIP1.
Endomembrane system. Wholly intracellular, possibly membrane associated.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded sections) - JAK1 antibody (ab38519)

Analysis of breast carcinoma using ab 38519. Left: untreated. Right: treated with synthesised phosphopeptide
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) - JAK1 (phospho Y1022) antibody (ab38519)

ab38519 staining JAK1 (phospho Y1022) in Dog lung tissue sections by IHC-P (Paraformaldehyde fixed paraffin embedded sections). Tissue was fixed with 10% buffered formalin and blocked with 5% serum for 20 minutes and 20°C. Antigen retrieval was by heat mediation in EDTA (pH8, 110°C, 2 minutes) buffer. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/200) for 1 hour at 20°C. An undiluted HRP-conjugated Goat polyclonal to rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody.
