Recommended dilutions
ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. ELISA titre using peptide based assay was 1:62500.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.25 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 58 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 56 kDa).
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

KCNG1 is a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, subfamily G. Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume.
This gene is abundantly expressed in skeletal muscle. Alternative splicing results in at least two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
