Predicted band size : 147 kDa
Observed band size : 170 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
The cells express a JMJD1A/JHDM2A fusion protein which is slightly larger than the predicted size of JMJD1A/JHDM2A

Immunoprecipitation - JMJD1A/JHDM2A antibody - ChIP Grade (ab52002)
IP using ab52002 JMJD1A/JHDM2A anitbody on HeLa cell lysate (lane 1) and lysate from HeLa cells transfected with human JMJD1A/JHDM2A (lane 2). Precipitates were analysed by Western blot using the same antibody.

ChIP - KDM3A / JHDM2A antibody - ChIP Grade (ab52002)
Chromatin was prepared from a whole tissue lysate of mouse skin epidermis according to the Abcam X-ChIP protocol. Cells were fixed with formaldehyde for 10 min. An anti-intergrin V antibody was added to the control, which showed no signal. Ab52002 was diluted 1/800 and incubated with the sample for 12 hours at 4°C.
