KDM5B / PLU1 / Jarid1b is a novel breast cancer associated nuclear protein containing highly conserved domains, including JmjC and JmjN motifs. KDM5B interacts with Brain Factor 1 (BF1) and Pax9. KDM5B specifically demethylates mono, di and tri methyl histone H3 at K4.
