Applications

Show applications key

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab40955 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application notes

WB: 1/1000 (when using colorimetric substrates such as BCIP/NBT) - 1/5000 (for chemiluminescent substrates). Predicted molecular weight: 36 kDa. Glycosylation and other post-translational modifications make the Kallikrein 9 protein run more slowly on SDS PAGE gels, usually around 36 kDa. A range of different sized bands can be seen for Kallikrein 9 in different tissues and in cell culture media, ranging from 16-30 kDa and likely representing different proteolytically processed forms. Dilution optimised using Chromogenic detection. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Target

Tissue specificity

Skin, thymus, trachea, cerebellum and spinal cord.

Sequence similarities

Belongs to the peptidase S1 family. Kallikrein subfamily.
Contains 1 peptidase S1 domain.

Cellular localization

Secreted.
