Is there anything know about this antibody to recognize preferentially a domain of the Listeriolysin protein? We know this is a polyclonal antibody against the full length protein, however if there is any data or prediction that this antibody would recongize one or the other part of this protein better, we would be very glad to know! Is there any part of the protein which is more immunogenic maybe? |

ANSWER: |
Unfortunately the laboratory has not made the epitope map of the anti-listeriolysin antibody and we do not know the immunogenity properties of Listeriolysin protein. The only result the laboratory may has to help you is that the antibody recognizes with the same affinity both Listeriolysin and Listeriolysin-PEST minus proteins. Therefore you can exclude that the PEST sequence is a preferred domain of rabbit anti-LLO antibody. |

Anti-Listeriolysin (LLO) antibody (ab43018) at 1/1000 dilution
Predicted band size : 59 kDa
ab43018 detecting Listeriolysin in Listeria monocytogenes samples by indirect ELISA. Samples were blocked with 5% milk for 1 hour at 20ºC and incubated with the primary antibody (1/3000 in TBS + 0.1% Tween-20) for 1 hour at 20ºC. An alkaline phosphatase Goat anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal (1/1000) was used as the secondary antibody.
