Recommended dilutions ELISA: 1/5000. ICC/IF: 1/500 - 1/1000. WB: 1/500 - 1/1000. Detects a band of approximately 49 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 49 kDa). Several other bands are also visible; we have no explanation for their presence.
Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

MAG1 is the endoplasmic reticulum form of acyl-CoA:glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase - which catalyzes the initial step of de novo triacylglycerol synthesis by converting glycerol-3-phosphate to lysophosphatidic acid. Overexpression of MAG1 activates the mTOR pathway.
