Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab16031 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
IHC-P: 1/200 for 10 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
The MAGE 1 gene is a member of the melanoma antigen encoding gene family. These genes encode for HLA-restricted tumor associated rejection antigens recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Some of these target antigens may be potentially useful for cancer specific immunotherapy. The expression of MAGE genes has been reported not only in melanoma but also in various other malignant tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma and germ cell tumors.

Immunofluorescence staining with Mouse monoclonal [8C10] to SCAMP1+2+3 (ab17053; red) on Human HEK cells. Cells were fixed in methanol, no antigen retrieval step was necessary. Primary antibody was incubated for 1 hour at 5µg/ml. The confocal image shows anti-SCAMP in red and nuclear counterstain in blue.
