With regards to the above enquiry number could you please update us with the status. We urgently need the MAGE-B18 antibody for one of our studies and would really appreciate if we could receive a quick response. I would also like to know if you have another batch of MAGE-B18 antibody (other than GR43108-1) that we could have as a replacement, hopefully with the new batch we will be able to reproduce the results that we had with the old batch (GR35674-1) (note from Abcam: to reproduce the results in an untested applicated, in IHC).

I am happy to confirm that the laboratory got back to me yesterday confirming that a vial of the old batch could have been located for you.
I am now awaiting for the details of the shipping and will keep you updated.

I am very sorry for having misunderstood the application which you have used the antibody in, and sent you the wrong questionnaire. I still have got the relevant information from your side. Thank you. We have ourselves not tested this antibody in immunocytochemistry, and the new batch has therefore not been tested in this application neither. As however the old batch has worked well for you under these conditions, I would expect the second batch to work similarly. I would therefore be pleased to make an exception to our guarantee and to provide you with a free of charge replacement vial. Unfortunately however, we only have vials of the same batch in our stock currently. Would you like to test another vial of the same batch or would you prefer another antibody or a credit note? We have unfortunately no other feedback on this antibody. Please confirm also the order number and order date of the product, so I can arrange for the recompensation. We take product complaints very seriously, and investigate every product that we feel may not be performing correctly. As we discussed on the phone, I am attaching our questionnaire so that we can gather further information regarding the vials and general protocol, including controls, used. Once you sent this information back to me, I will be able to assign the details of the problem to the respective vials. This information will also allow us to investigate this case internally and initiate additional testing where necessary. As discussed on the phone, if the product is being used according to our Abpromise, we would be happy to replace or refund the antibody. Please let me know which option you will prefer.
