I am interested in your above antibodies to MAP 1A (ab11264) and MAP 1B (ab17849) Are these antibodies targeting the heavy chain? Do your predicted weights of MAP1A (350 kDa) and MAP1B (270)refer to the heavy chain? Thanks.

Unfortunately I have very few details regarding the antigenic sequences of either antibodies. I have performed internet searches using the clone number ID in each case and I have recovered very little.

I can tell you that ab11264, anti-MAP1A was initially published by Huber, G., Matus, A., (1984) Neuroscience 4, 151-160. I have not been able to access the journal due to the date but there may be epitope mapping data for the antibody if you can get access to the paper.

I am sorry that I cannot be of more help.
