Can this antibody be used for neutralization (as listed on datasheet) even though it contains azide? |
|||||||||
ANSWER: |
Thank you for your enquiry. We recommend that the azide be dialyzed out of the antibody preparation before any in vitro or in vivo studies. |

I am intrested in detecting MCP-1 in normal and Tg mouse brain cortex by Western Blot analysis. I have used another Ab with little success. Am interested in knowing how much total protein you load to pick up the MCP-1 using the Ab at the recommended 1/2000 dilution. Also would like to know if you were able to pick up the protein from mouse brain cortex. |

ANSWER: |
Thank you for your enquiry. This antiserum was tested by western blotting using RAW cells treated with LPS for 15 hours. 10ug of lysate and 10ug of supernatant was loaded onto the gel. A prominent band of 25 kDa was detected. I hope this information helps, please do not hesitate to contact me should you require further assistance. |
