All lanes : Anti-MMP10 antibody - Propeptide domain (ab28205) at 1/1000 dilution
Lane 1 : MMP10 (proenzyme) at 0.1 µg
Lane 2 : MMP10 (proenzyme) at 0.01 µg
Lane 3 : MMP10 (proenzyme) at 0.001 µg
Lane 4 : MMP10 (active) at 0.1 µg
Lane 5 : MMP10 (active) at 0.01 µg
Lane 6 : MMP10 (active) at 0.001 µg
Predicted band size : 54 kDa
Observed band size : 42,56 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
There are no apparent bands in lanes 4-6 because this is the active form of MMP10, where the propeptide domain has been cleaved and this antibody is specific to the propeptide domain.
