All lanes : Anti-MMP22 antibody - Propeptide domain (ab39082) at 1/1000 dilution
Lane 1 : Cell media from human fetal fibroblasts.
Lane 2 : Mouse lung tissue.
Predicted band size : 53 kDa
Observed band size : 66 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
Additional bands at : 70 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.
It is unclear if the actual bands seen are from alternative splicing, posttranslational modifications, aggregation, or some other phenomenon.
