Predicted band size : 13 kDa
Observed band size : 18 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
Additional bands at : 100 kDa,65 kDa,74 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.
Exposure time : 30 seconds
The predicted molecular weight of is 13 kDa (SwissProt), however we expect to observe a banding pattern at 18 kDa. Abcam welcomes customer feedback and would appreciate any comments regarding this product and the data presented above.
Overlay histogram showing Malme-3 cells stained with ab3168 (red line). The cells were fixed with methanol (5 min) and incubated in 1x PBS / 10% normal goat serum / 0.3M glycine to block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The cells were then incubated with the antibody (ab3168, 2µg/1x106 cells) for 30 min at 22ºC. The secondary antibody used was DyLight® 488 goat anti-mouse IgG (H+L) (
