Relevance
|
E3 ubiquitin ligase protein mediates ubiquitination of Delta receptors, which act as ligands of Notch proteins. It positively regulates the Delta-mediated Notch signaling by ubiquitinating the intracellular domain of Delta, leading to endocytosis of Delta receptors. It probably mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of DAPK1, thereby antagonizing anti-apoptotic effects of DAPK1 to promote TNF-induced apoptosis.

Immunohistochemistry (PFA perfusion fixed frozen sections) - Mib1/Mindbomb antibody (ab43302)
ab43302 staining mouse brain tissue by IHC-FoFr. This antibody stained varicose fibers in the mouse habenula and hippocampus. The picture shows the staining obtained at the level of the habenula. The tissues were fixed with 4% PFA and later postfixed overnight in the same fixative. They were cryoprotected in 30% sucrose and cut using a cryostat. The primary antibody was diluted 1/1000 and incubated with the sample for 18 hrs at 20°C. An Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit was used as the secondary.
