NDUFB5 (NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) 1 beta subcomplex, 5) is a component of the multisubunit NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex I), the first complex in the mitochondrial repiratory chain. Complex I transfers electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain via ubiquinone.
