Dear Abcam Scientific support teams Hello, I would like to few things about your product, Anti-Nogo Receptor antibody [RM0126-3D66] (ab86452) As there are three types of Nogo receptor ( Nogo receptor 1, 2, and 3) and I want a anti-Nogo receptor 1. Are there any cross-reactivity among these three nogo receptor types with this antibody? If you don't know, can you please provide me with peptide sequence used to generate this antibody? Thank you for your inquiry. I can confirm that the immunogen for this antibody was recombinant protein of the Nogo receptor(Accession # Q99PI8 ranging from aa 27 to 440). I could not find any information about three types of receptor apart from the information that Nogo receptor is also called Reticulon 4 receptor. If you have access to the sequence data of these three types of receptor the information about the immunogen should help answer your question. If the homology is higher than 85% we generally expect some cross-reactivity. I am sorry I could not provide you with an straight forward answer on this occasion and hope this information is nevertheless helpful. |
