I bought primary antibody against nrf2 (ab31163) and did western blotting using human cultured RPE cells.

I am confusing a bit about your product.

Nrf2 molecular weight is 68kDa and your datasheet indicates we can see the expected band around 98kDa for some reason.

But reviewer’s pics in the datasheet show around 98kDa. Why?

Furthermore, I can see nrf2 bands around 118, 98 and 68kDa in my western blotting results.

Could you give me your suggestion about the difference of three bands?

Thank you for your enquiry regarding ab31163.

As the legend under the Western blot image indicates both the predicted and the observed bands sizes are around 68 kDa. It is important to mention that 2 isoforms have been identified:

Higher bands than 68 kDa could be the different polyubiquination forms of Nrf2.

I would like to order the SGLT2 antibody (ab37296) for WB and IHC in mouse and rat kidney sample as well as renal proximal tubular cells in vitro. I am wondering whether this antibody would be suitable for us or not? Is it possible that you could also send me the quotation.

The SGLT2 antibody ab37296 is suitable for mouse and rat, and has been tested in Western blot and immunocytochemistry. However, we have not yet tested it in IHC on tissue samples so we are not able to guarantee that it will work in IHC. If you would like to try it in IHC, you will be eligible for a testing discount code like the one you received to test ab31163.
