Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab11503 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
ICC/IF: 1/50
WB: Use a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml.Detects a band of approximately 65 kDa.
Neut: Use a concentration of 1 - 3 µg/ml.(The Neutralization Dose50 (ND50) for anti-mouse osteopontin is approximately 1 to 3 µg/ml in the presence of 2 µg/ml of recombinant mouse osteopontin using 293 cells.)
I-ELISA: Use a concentration of 0.5 - 1 µg/ml.
IHC-Fr: Use at an assay dependent dilution. (PubMed: 17224478)
Binds tightly to hydroxyapatite. Appears to form an integral part of the mineralized matrix. Probably important to cell-matrix interaction.
Acts as a cytokine involved in enhancing production of interferon-gamma and interleukin-12 and reducing production of interleukin-10 and is essential in the pathway that leads to type I immunity.
Bone. Found in plasma.
Belongs to the osteopontin family.
Extensively phosphorylated on clustered serine residues.
N- and O-glycosylated.
Phosphorylation sites are present in the extracelllular medium.
Secreted.
