Does this antibody react with other regions of Pacsin3? How has the specificity been tested? Is the peptide available?

Thank you for your enquiry and patience. Ab2226 was raised against the synthetic peptide APEEDAGGEALGGS, corresponding to amino acids 2-15 of Human PACSIN3. It is an affinity purified anti-peptide antibody and so shouldn't react with other regions. However, no additional specificity testing has been done. The antibody was tested in a peptide ELISA (antibody detection limit dilution 1/16000) and in Western blotting (Observed band of 50 kDa in H460 and human heart and muscle lysates (predicted MW of 49kDa according to NP_057307)).

I'm still investigating what the status of the peptide being added to our catalog is, and will get back to you when I have more information.
