Relevance
|
PACSIN3 differs from the other family members in having a short proline-rich region and lacking asparagine-proline-phenylalanine motifs. In contrast to the neurospecific PACSIN1 and the ubiquitously expressed PACSIN2, PACSIN3 is mainly detected in lung and muscle tissues. PACSIN3 may play a role in vesicle formation and transport.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
