PAF2 protein (Active)
See all PAFAH products (2) ...
Recombinant full length Human PAF2 produced in 293 cells; amino acids 22-441, 48kDa. Swiss ID = Q13093.
>95% by SDS-PAGE
Purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE gel and HPLC analyses. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per µg (1EU/µg).
Biological Activity : Measured by its ability to cleave a PAF analog in a chromogenic substrate linked assay. At a PAF2 concentration of 10.0 µg/ml, 50% cleavage was achieved at an incubation time of approximately 2 minutes.
Lyophilised
Aliquot and store at -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab82130 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FuncS: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
SDS-PAGE: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
Recombinant PAF2 is a 420 amino acid glycoprotein which migrates with an apparent molecular mass of 47-55 kDa by SDS-PAGE analysis.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Platelet activating factor (PAF) acetylhydrolase is a secreted enzyme that catalyzes the degradation of PAF to inactive products by hydrolysis of the acetyl group at the sn-2 position, producing the biologically inactive products LYSO-PAF and acetate.
Secreted protein; extracellular space.
