Application notes
IHC-Fr: Use at a concentration of 1 µg/ml.
WB: Use at a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 17 kDa representing PDE6 delta from bovine retinal extracts.
Immunohistochemical staining of PDE6 delta in bovine retinal cross-sections using ab5665 results in staining of retinal outer segments.
Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Target
Function
Acts as a GTP specific dissociation inhibitor (GDI). Increases the affinity of ARL3 for GTP by several orders of magnitude and does so by decreasing the nucleotide dissociation rate. Stabilizes Arl3-GTP by decreasing the nucleotide dissociation.
