Application notes
(see key)
|
Recommended dilutions IHC-P: 1/100. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval before commencing with IHC staining protocol (see Abreview). WB: 1/1000. 1/1000 when using colorimetric substrates such as BCIP/NBT, and 1/5000 for chemiluminescent substrates. Predicted molecular weight: 71 kDa. EDTA/EGTA treatment of tissues or lysates is required to see latent zymogen. Dilution optimised using Chromogenic detection. Predicted molecular weight: 71 kDa.
Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Relevance
|
Plasma Kallikrein 1B is a serine proteinase of the S1 family It is secreted by the liver, kidney, adrenal gland and placenta. The zymogen is referred to as prekallikrein (PK) and is activated by Factor XIIa to an active two chain form, plasma kallikrein. In Fletcher syndrome plasma kallikrein is deficient, resulting in a prolonged partial thromboplastin time (PT).

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) - Plasma Kallikrein 1B antibody (ab44392)
ab44392 staining Kallikrein 1B in human temporal neocortical tissue sections IHC-P . Tissue samples were fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 10% serum for 20 minutes at 23°C: antigen retrieval was performed by heat mediation in citrate buffer.. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/100) for 18 hours at 23°C . A biotin-conjugated horse anti Rabbit IgG polyclonal (1/50) was used as secondary antibody.
