This is regarding human procalcitonin protein (ab53369). I ran an SDS-PAGE with your product and have 2 bands. One is at 55kDa and the other is at 25kDa. The sheet that comes with the product shows a single band just above 16kDa. Could you explain this? Is this figure a western blot or a coomasie stained gel? If the purity is >95% by SDS-PAGE, why are there 2 bands? Thank you, |

Would it be possible to send an image, and I will forward it on to the lab to see if there is an explanation? I believe that the image on the datasheet is a stained gel, and I'm not sure why there should be two bands at 25 and 55 kDa. From our order history, it looks like you ordered a vial of this protein in 2009- do you remember if that vial of protein produced the same results?
