Hello, I have a question regarding the antiRACK! antibody number ab59745. I know that it's only listed application is WB. I would like to use it for IF (since we already have it in the lab). Is it not recommended for IF because it has been tested and gave unsatisfactory results or it just was not tested for IF but might work if tried? Thank you |

Thank you for contacting Abcam. It is entirely possible that ab59745 would work in IF, its just that we have not tested it in IF and so we cannot guarantee that it will work. Normally, if an antibody has not been tested in a specific application or species, then we offer the customer a testing discount to try it out. Since you have already purchased the antibody, I can make an exception and offer you an Image testing discount to try ab59745 in IF. What this means, is that I would send you a testing code, you would then test the antibody in IF and submit an Abreview on the results (positive or negative), along with an image of the results.
