The immunogen is full length, natural enzyme. The sequence is not available.

Question 2

Tuesday 04-January-2005

I got AB6611 (raised against RNAse A) from your company and would like to know if it also recognizes RNAse B and RNAse A, as these enzymes are closely related. Looking forward to hearing from you,

ANSWER:

Thank you for your enquiry. The antibody has not been tested for cross reactivity to RNAse B. It can be assumed it recognizes RNAse B as well due to the nature of the polyclonal antibody.

I hope this information helps, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further advice,

I have a customer enquiry for this product (ab6611): Is there a recommended Western or ELISA protocol to follow I am also interested in Limit of Detection data in these types of methods. . .how much RNase A can you detect in your QC westerns / ELISA\'s. . .?

ANSWER:

All the information that we have regarding this antibody is located on the online datasheet. We do not have a specific protocol for this antibody, please try the standard protocols and let us know how you get on.

Question 4

Wednesday 03-December-2003

Dear Danielle, Thank you for your offer. I have the antibody with me. To help me with my optimisation can you give me the concentrations used for the already tested applications? Thankyou, Anthea

ANSWER:

I'm afraid that we do not have the precise dilutions at which this antibody has been used in the applications listed on the datasheet. As a rule of thumb, we generally recommend a starting concentration of 1µg/ml in WB if this helps.
