Description

Rat monoclonal [P4/16] to RT6

Specificity

This antibody reacts with the Pta.A2 antigen which is present on the majority of peripheral T cells but only expressed at low levels in the thymus (probably by medullary thymocytes). The alloantigen is also known as Ag-F1, ART-2, RT-ly-2 and RT6 agreed at the 4th International Workshop on Alloantigenic Systems in the Rat, 1982. Positive on PVG, PVG-RT1a (DA), PVG-RT11 (AGUS), PVG-RT1u (AO) and PVG-R1 - Negative on PVG-PtaDA rats.
