Hi, I'm interested in the following antibodies for IHC/IF, and I'm wondering if you could tell me if any preliminary experiments have been done on these antibodies and if the results suggest that they are good for both IHC (on FFPE) and IF? Ab25644, ab24941, ab86900, ab41467, ab60077, ab25175, ab24985, ab112470, ab61219, ab6564, ab59437, ab116223 If they haven't been tested previously, is there a testing discount that we can have for using it in our experiments? In addition, as we are a new lab based in ####, is there a discount which we can have for bulk ordering antibodies and other reagents from Abcam? And perhaps a discount from shipping all the reagents at all instead of individual shipping rates? Many thanks, |

Does Cy5 colocalize with Fitc? With Rhodamine? With Texas Red? |
ANSWER: |
|
Thank you for your enquiry. Cy5 emits the color red (it is located at the Far-Red end of the spectrum). The following link on our website should be helpful for you (there is a Fluorochrome table on that particulat page): http://abcam2/index.html?pageconfig=tech&mode=choosing
So, if Cy5 overlaps with Fitc, the color seen would be yellow. |

Hi, I am looking for an Rb antibody to use for immunohistochemistry. I can't figure out what the 'Fr' after IHC-Fr stands for and I don't want to purchase the antibody until I am entirely sure that it will work for my purposes. I would like to order it today or tomorrow.
I am going to be staining mouse skeletal muscle sections with the Rb rabbit polyclonal primary (catalog #ab6075 ) and the secondary: ab6564 Goat polyclonal to Rabbit IgG H&L (also curious what H&L stands for) Thank you!
|
ANSWER: |
|
Thank you for your email. Ab6075 has been tested for application in IHC-Frozen sections (IHC-Fr). It has not yet been tested for application in IHC-formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. For ab6564, Goat polyclonal to Rabbit IgG H&L (Cy5), H&L stands for heavy and light chain. If you have any more questions, please contact us again.
