WB: 1/1000 (ECL detection using 100 ug HeLa lysate). Predicted molecular weight: 39 kDa.

By Western blot, this antibody recognizes a band at 35 kDa representing hRAD51D (H3 splice variant). No cross-reactivity was observed with XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51, RAD51B, or RAD51C.

Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Relevance 

This protein forms a complex with several other members of the RAD51 family, including RAD51L1, RAD51L2, and XRCC2. The protein complex formed with this protein has been shown to catalyze homologous pairing between single and double stranded DNA, and is thought to play a role in the early stage of recombinational repair of DNA. There are seven named isoforms.
