S100 beta protein (ab54050)

Does this protein have low endotoxin levels?

I have heard back from the testing laboratory, and unfortunately the endotoxin levels are not tested for this protein.

Because this customer already bought this antibody so many times, and always shows the good results, but every time he get this antibody with lot number “GR28394-1”, the result seems not really well, therefore, he doesn’t wants to buy this antibody with lot number “GR28394-1”. We currently do have this product in stock through our Japan office.

We believe that we offer the highest quality product at Abcam and guarantee the effectiveness for a period of 6 months after delivery if used in a manner consistent with the information on our datasheet.



Our S100 Beta protein is purified by a combination of ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction and size exclusion chromatography.No denaturing methods/chemicals are used in any steps of purification. We do not measure LPS contamination for S100B.

When you return the goods, please ensure that you follow the procedures as below:
- Return in the original Abcam box with the cooler box and ice pack (or similar) within 7 days from today.
- Return all documents (or copies of) that arrived with the product (if they’re available – should be invoice, delivery note and datasheet). Please note that we will be unable to issue the credit note if the product is dispatched without the cooler box. However we are not able to accept products returned on dry ice.

- Please mark on the documents the reason of return and Ref:

- Please return using an over night courier by paying the shipping charges.

- You will need to provide the courier with an AirWay Bill – which you can get from the courier, and fill out with our details.

The lot number we have in stock are GR25855-1 and GR28394-1. We will get new lots when all the 16 vials of current lot get sold off.
