S100A14 is a member of a subfamily of proteins related by Ca(2+)-binding motifs to the EF-hand Ca(2+)-binding protein superfamily.
Expressed at highest levels in colon and at moderate levels in thymus, kidney, liver, small intestine, and lung. S100A14 is also overexpressed in ovary, breast and uterus tumours
