SART2, also known as Dermatan-sulfate epimerase (DSE), converts D-glucuronic acid to L-iduronic acid (IdoUA) residues during dermatan sulfate (DS) biosynthesis. It was identified as a tumor-rejection antigen in squamous cell carcinomas.
