IHC-P
Application notes
IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 4 - 8 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval via the microwave method before commencing with IHC staining protocol (incubating the sections at 98-100° C in a microwave in 0.01 M citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes. Cool down in room temperature for 30-60 min). Incubate primary antibody overnight. Use biotin conjugated secondary antibody, followed by HRP-conjugated streptavidin method.
WB: Use at a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 37 kDa.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Terminal component of the liver microsomal stearyl-CoA desaturase system, that utilizes O(2) and electrons from reduced cytochrome b5 to catalyze the insertion of a double bond into a spectrum of fatty acyl-CoA substrates including palmitoyl-CoA and stearoyl-CoA.
