Does this antibody bind to somatostatin 28?

The antibody does cross-react with Somatostatin 28.

The manufacturing lab confirmed that the statement on the datasheet "Partially crossreacts with somatostatin fragments" means that there is a signal, but not as strong as for the 14aa and 28aa lengths of somatostatin.

Also, if the 14aa or 28aa peptides "fragment;" the remainders would be very small indeed. I assume then "partially crossreacts" refers to partial epitopes for this monoclonal.
