I was so disappointed with your response ˜ nearly angry.
The reason for us to buy most expensive antibody from Abcam is to be guaranteed the results and the discussion.
I carefully selected the TGFb1 antibody from Abcam. I reviewed some papers.
At first, I didn't see any band except around ˜ 150 kd.
This week, I could see two band. (To see, we need longer exposure time (over 3-4 min) etc.)
During that time, I used nearly whole antibody.
Also, your anonymous abreview didn't show any information about this result.
Before doing more process, I need your academic sincere advice.

I regret that no one in our scientific support staff is an expert regarding the expression and processing of TGF beta 1. Nonetheless I did spend quite a bit of time researching the issue myself. I was not able to find any explaination of the 150kDa band. Perhaps this vial of ab27969 you received is not working as expected. I am happy to provide a free replacement vial of ab27969 or any other anti-TGF beta 1 if you wish.

First one will be the TGFb precursor. But, I can't understand the ˜150 kD band. What is your opinion about my results ? What do you recommend to do ? I was able to use Photoshop to enhance to the image so I could see both bands you describe. I'm not quite sure what the higher molecular weight band is. Do you think you should also see a 12.5 and 25kDa band?
