Question 1

Monday 16-May-2005

I have been using mAb to human TLR9 from one of the companies but I am not getting a clear bands in WB, so now am looking for a polyclonal one . From your products I found this one but I was surprised from the band seen in the image in your datasheet.

I would be grateful if you could tell me what the band at 75kD represent in your western blots which I also got it in my blots from the mAb while the right size is about 120 KDa and not seen in your blot. I would also be grateful if you can give me refernces for this product.

ANSWER:

Thank you for your enquiry. The predicted MW of TLR9 is approximately 115 kDa. Ab14277 was tested in Western blotting using E coli derived fusion protein as test antigen. The band at about 75 kDa is the TLR9 fusion protein.

Unfortunately, we are not aware of any publications that feature the use of this antibody.
