    This antibody is is useful in determining the presence of human TNF alpha in various assays. In general, this antibody also detects primate TNF primate in the same formats using similar dilutions. This antibody is also useful for neutralization of human and primate TNF alpha activity in bioassays. It does not neutralize the biological activity of lymphotoxin.

Neutralising 1/200.

It is recommended to incubate the sample with a 1/200 dilution of the antibody for at least 4 hours before being tested.

ELISA 1/1000 - 1/2000.

This product has been assayed against TNF alpha using HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG [H&L] (Goat) and ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT. This antibody is best used as the second antibody in combination with a monoclonal antibody as a capture antibody.

IHC-P 1/200 - 1/400.
WB 1/400 - 1/800. Predicted molecular weight: 17,26 kDa.

Use for supernates or lysates from 2 X 106 endotoxin-stimulated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). PBMC are stimulated for 24 hours with 1% (v/v) human serum plus 10 ng/mL E.coli LPS.

Five types of psoriatic arthritis have been defined: asymmetrical oligoarthritis characterized by primary involvement of the small joints of the fingers or toes; asymmetrical arthritis which involves the joints of the extremities; symmetrical polyarthritis characterized by a rheumatoidlike pattern that can involve hands, wrists, ankles, and feet; arthritis mutilans, which is a rare but deforming and destructive condition; arthritis of the sacroiliac joints and spine (psoriatic spondylitis).

Anti-TNF alpha antibody - Azide free images

  • Immunohistochemical immunofluorescence analysis of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded human colon tissue sections, labelling TNF alpha with ab34839 incubated at 20°C for 2 hours. The sample was blocked in 10% serum for 2 hours at 20°C. The secondary used was a goat polyclonal Alexa Fluor® 680 conjugate used at 1/5,000.

  • Immunohistochemical analysis of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded human artery tissue sections labelling TNF Alpha with ab34839 at a concentration of 1/100 and incubated for 24 hours at 4°C. Heat mediated antigen retrival was performed with sodium citrate at pH 6.0. Tissues were blocked with 1.5% serum. The secondary used was a goat anti-rabbit HRP conjugate.
