Question 1

Wednesday 14-March-2012

Okay but now you lost track of my intended application. I only want to use a WB in order to validate that the antibody is binding to one and only one protein. Then I need to use IHC, IF and FC. Of these IHC is the most important. Have another try?

ANSWER:

Thank you for your response.

Of the products which may react in canine only ab13918 has been tested in IHC and WB. However I would still recommend ab22106 as the homology of the regions is greater and it is a polyclonal antibody. You would qualify for the 100% Abreview discount in either case.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Question 2

Tuesday 13-March-2012

This is not the correct target. The gene name is TNRSF11A also known as CD265 or RANK

ANSWER:

Thank you for your response, I apologize as it seem that I lost track of the protein names.

We have a few products against RANKwhichshould work with canine samples as the homologies between the protein regions is good. Of those products I would recommend ab22106 (http://www.abcam.com/RANK-antibody-ab22106.html). Other products against the extracellular region may also be effective though the homoloies were not as good. Those product are ab13918, an10497 and ab10498.
