I purchased U1A peptide and I was wondering what the storage buffer is.
Also, in the context of binding to RNA, what buffer system is typical?
Is it the storage buffer?

ANSWER:

  

The storage buffer is

30 mM HEPES, 150 mM NaCl, 2 mM EDTA, 0.001% Tween 20 at pH 6.75.

As I mentioned in my previous e-mail, this peptide has not been tested for binding to RNA. It is only a small peptide, not functionall U1A, and is offered as a blocking peptide control for experiments using the antibody that was generated against the peptide, ab40689.
