Recommended dilutions
ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Titre using peptide based assay 1/312500.
IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 4 - 8 µg/ml.
WB: Use at a concentration of 1.25 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 29 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 29 kDa).
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Relevance

UBC6 catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. Seems to function in the selective degradation of misfolded membrane proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum. This enzyme is located in the membrane of the endoplasmic reticulum (referenced from swissprot).
