Hi We use a lot of your NBR1 antibody listed below. I was wondering if there was a possibility of ordering a larger size? perhaps 100ug or 200ug instead of 50ug? If not, perhaps a quote if we order 3 lots in 1 go? BW

Hello,

We had purchased anti-vinculin antibody ab61186 from Abcam and we tested the antibody in IF on our human cardiac cells. Unfortunately we did not get the specific staining of vinculin in focal adhesions.

We used 2 positive controls in our test: anti-kindlin-2 antibodies (stains focal adhesions) and anti-vinculin antibody from Sigma.

Please find the pictures attached.

From our test we concluded that the antibodies we received are not specific for human vinculin.

We ask Abcam for reimbursement of the antibody costs.

I am sorry that the product you received did not perform as stated expected. We have recently updated the datasheet and the antibody should indeed work for ICC/IF. As requested, I am happy to issue you a refund.
