Relevance
WBP2 is a steroid hormone receptor coactivator. WBP2 has been shown to specifically modulate the hormone dependent transcriptional activities of the estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR), but no significant effect on the androgen receptor, glucocorticoid receptor, or the activation functions of p53 and VP-16 have been noted.
