Properties
To determine the KD for ab118163, cells were treated with concentrations of NECA alone, or in the presence of 1 µM ab118163, and the cyclic AMP-induced expression of SPAP measured.
The KD at A1, A2A and A3 receptors was calculated from the shift of the agonist response curve for ab118163, compared to the response curve for the agonist alone, for each receptor-expressing cells.

The apparent KD at A2A was calculated from the rightward shift of the agonist response curve in the presence of ab118163, compared to the response curve for the agonist alone, for the receptor-expressing cell line.
KD values: Antagonist -log KD value for A2A =7.50. -
