Product nameCardiotrophin 1 protein (Active)See all Cardiotrophin 1 proteins and peptides ...
Protein descriptionHighly pure (>98%) recombinant human Cardiotrophin 1.
Expression hostE. coli
Properties
Purification notesSterile filtered
Greater than 99% pure by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses.
Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per µg (1EU/µg).
FormLyophilised:The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at –20°C. We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in 20 mM Tris, pH 8.0 to a concentration of < 1.0mg/ml.
Storage instructionsStore at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). Aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles. This product is an active protein and may elicit a biological response in vivo, handle with caution.

Additional notesThe ED50, as determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of TF-1 cells is < 1.0 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 1 x 106 units/mg. The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at –20°C. We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in 20 mM Tris, pH 8.0 to a concentration of < 1.0mg/ml.
