Recommended dilutions
ChIP: Use at an assay dependent dilution (PMID 20010811).
ICC/IF: Use at a concentration of 10 µg/ml.
IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 3 µg/ml.
IP: Use at an assay dependent dilution (PMID 19574298).
WB: Use at a concentration of 1 - 5 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 97 kDa. Please note that this antibody has only been used to detect the recombinant protein immunogen in WB, and we have no data on the detection of endogenous proteins.


Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Relevance 

Ago2 is essential for RNA interference (RNAi), where double-stranded RNA induces potent and specific gene silencing. RNAi is mediated by the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC), a sequence-specific, multicomponent nuclease that destroys messenger RNAs homologous to the silencing trigger.
