ab52227 (1/100) staining alpha 1 Catenin in paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue. Right hand panel represents a negative control for which ab52227 was pre-incubated with the immunising peptide (blocking).
- alpha 1 Catenin antibody (ab52227)
Western blot of ab52227 detecting alpha 1 catenin protein. Mouse small intestine epithelial cells were isolated and run on a 9% denaturing gel. The gel was blocked with 5% milk for 1 hour before being incubated with ab52227 (1:1000) for 12 hours at 4°C in 5% Milk/TBS Tween. The antibody was detected using anti-rabbit IgG conjugated to HRP (1:2500). Lane 1 is an intestinal epithelial lysate taken from a conditional Adenomatous Polyposis Coli (APC) mutant mouse, while lane 2 was taken from a control.
