Does this antibody react with alpah A AND alpha C gene products? Also, I'd like to know the immungen sequence if it is known.

ANSWER:

  

AP-2 polypeptides from bovine brain were used as the immunogen for raising this antibody.

We didn't determine the sequence of these peptides, nor was the epitope defined experimentally.

We haven't tested the antibodies ability to bind the various alpha isoforms but they are described as being highly homologous and as a result it may be possible that the antibody can bind them all. This would need to be confirmed experimentally, however.
