Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab36122 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
IHC-P Use a concentration of 3 - 5 µg/ml.
WB Use a concentration of 1 - 3 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 170 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 109 kDa). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature, Ando et al. PMID 11994381.

  • Anti-Aminopeptidase A antibody (ab36122) at 1 µg/ml + Human Testis Lysate at 30 µg
    Developed using the ECL technique

Predicted band size : 109 kDa
Observed band size : 170 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
    Primary incubated for 1 hour.
  • ab36122 at 3.8µg/ml staining Aminopeptidase A in human kidney tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections). Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 was performed, AP-staining. Image shows staining of basement membrane and the mesangium in the glomerulus.

  • ab36122 staining Aminopeptidase A in rat kidney tissue by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections).Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step was performed using citrate. Samples were then blocked using 20% serum for 1 hour at 25°C and then incubated with ab36122 at 3µg/ml for 1 hour. The secondary used was an undiluted HRP conjugated polyclonal.
