The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use at 2-10 µg/mg of lysate.
Application notesIs unsuitable for WB.
FunctionGTPase tethering membranes through formation of trans-homooligomer and mediating homotypic fusion of endoplasmic reticulum membranes. Functions in endoplasmic reticulum tubular network biogenesis.
Tissue specificityExpressed in peripheral tissues (at protein level).
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the GBP family. Atlastin subfamily.
Detection of ARL6IP2 in Immunoprecipitates of Jurkat whole cell lysates (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) using ab118807 at 6 µg/mg lysate for IP (Lane 1). For WB detection an anti-ARL6IP2 antibody which recognizes an upstream epitope was used at 0.4 µg/ml. Lane 2 represents control IgG IP. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.
